This is the facade of our house. still looks like in poor condition right? we are going to lay homogeneous tiles for entire car porch area, change wider gate and repaint the whole house. for sure it looks nice after that, can't wait to see that moment.

I'm planning to renovate the master bathroom after the 1st renovation work. Honestly, I don't like to use 'secondhand' WC and wash basin. And I don't like the design. Thinking to change it to a more modern one, with big basin (easy to wash face, haha) and simple cabinet below (don't like to see the water pipe below the basin).
I'm even thinking to change the bathroom door to bi-fold door. I've been to Reliance Homes at Bandar Puteri Puchong, purposely to find out more about the shower screen and the doors. I really like the door, with white color powder coated steel frame and infill with laminated glass. same materials can be apply to bi-fold door too.
I think it will looks nice when apply to bathroom door and bi-fold door can help to save some space. Not like wooden swing door, wooden will slowly spoil due to the wet environment and the swing door used up alot of space in the bathroom, make the bathroom smaller.

We've been drive through around our area and see if we can found any house exterior color similar to the design that i want. Finaly I've found this, it's exactly the color combination that I want. The grey and white color combination!!
Somemore is the wooden that door that I like. I can noticed the main door and the window inside is using white wooden materials which make the house looks more western and english style. But one thing spoil the nice feeling of this house is the roof color. They should use dark grey color. It will improve the overall design.
I've decided to paint grey as a main exterior color and the white as a sub-colro for our house.

Yesterday we went to the tiles showroom at 1 Puchong agani to buy tiles. After comparing with few shops in Petailng Jaya area, the tiles here still slightly cheaper. I think is due to the opening promotion. We've bought the 2'x1' dark grey homogeneous tiles for car porch area at RM5/pc. For back yard, we are going to put 1'x1' homogeneous tiles (beige color) at RM1.80/pc. Delivery is free and extra balance tiles in future can be returned and refunded. Sound good right? :)

Yesterday went to our house with my mum after I've discuss about our plan of renovation at backyard. My mum want to give us a better idea to avoid any wrong decision made by us. They have better experience anyway :)
I've more time to shoot more photo. At least I need photos as reference when I'm doing interior design by myself.

After calculating the budget needed to do relevant renovation, i think it will cost us a bomb:

changing car porch tiles and wider main gate, fencing wall at car porch, plaster ceiling in living area and backyard, awning+tiles+gate at backyard
=roughly RM21,000

we haven't add in the cost of painting the whole house, the wallpaper and concealing the wiring cable inside the house.

shocking figure. initially we hope budget can be within RM20k with all the things that we want to do. now seems it's abit optimistic. let's be more realistic.

the soonest that we can move in is next year. so no christmas house warming, it may be after CNY.

Just now we sneak out to go tiles showroom, we have shortlisted few 2'x1' tiles for car porch area. our selected color is grey color range. No need to be too dark or too light. Dark color will make your floor looks more dirty when there is alot of stain and rubbish.
This is the exterior color scheme that we trying to achieve, a white and grey combination. I think it will not be so outdate or old fashion after few years later :)

I was dropping at few furniture show room in Puchong yesterday to search for sofa. There are few sofa on SALE that selling at reasonable price but I'm still not very satisfied to the design.

This was selling at around RM1800 (display set price), half PU leather and Half fabric, can't change colour. still not my cup of tea.


Promoter introduce the latex sofa. He said latex is the most expensive material comparing to spring and sponge. So it will be abit expensive, the 3 seater L shape sofa below was priced at RM2,000. The size and colour can be changed. hmm.abit out of my budget.


The sofa below is 3+2+1, the 2+3 can place together and make it into L shape. all fabric, color can be changes. Priced at RM2,380. Quite a reasonable price and the design is not bad. But I've decided to go back to the furniture shop that I visited sometimes back to look at my selected sofa again.




Finally, I dropped at the furniture shop opposite Tesco Puchong for second time. I still goes back to the shop where I spotted the type of sofa that I want. I don't what the design call, it is like have the 豆腐格 design on the sofa. Nowaday all those sofa in the market, they can manufacture it to suit your space, change the fabric color and also the materials. I've choose this one, but I will change it to beig/light grey color:
